We had a quote for the furnace repair or replacement from one of the ‘Big Two’ but then waited days for the part. Called THE for a second opinion and Phil did a great job explaining the pros and cons of repair or replacement and found the necessary part for repair even though suppliers were shut down. We ultimately decided to replace the furnace and THE put in a new Lennox for significantly less than we had been quoted by the ‘big’ company. Mackenzie and the installers were in and out quickly and did an excellent job. They were very considerate in not making any kind of a mess despite the wet, muddy conditions outside. He kept the work area clean, did the job and communicated issues clearly. A secondary problem with respect to the attached humidifier was drawn to our attention. Drop cloths were used the full distance. They answered all my questions without hesitation . Total Home Energy Systems performed diag on a Wednesday afternoon and had a new furnace in by Friday noon. No high pressure sales games when getting a quote. Once I awarded the job to THES I had specific things I wanted done including furnace and AC model specs, particulars in regards to the condensate / humidifier drainage, electrical conduit, and a custom plenum. The response from THES was always “no problem”. Come installation day the crew was right on time and completed the job before I expected that day. Kevin and Jarod were great. Dave did preventive maintenance on my furnace this year. He arrived on time, was professional, gave useful tips to maintain my furnace and even shared few laughs.
